Registered Nurse (RN) – Call Center Supervisor




Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing officer, the incumbent of this position provides direction, oversight, and supervision of the call center. The Call Center Nurse provides supervision to the call center, and he/she is responsible for assisting in disciplinary actions which may or may not require the approval of a higher level of authority. Ensures applicable standards of care are consistently maintained by all nursing personnel throughout acuity and coverage. The call center nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and the needs of the units at each standard nursing shift change. The plan will also determine ancillary staff sufficient to assist in the interventions required to meet the patient/resident needs. Unit’s acuity will be used as a guide for staffing each shift and will provide historical data for developing nursing budgets.
