Full-Time Retail Banking Coordinator – South Central KS

Job Description


The Retail Banking Coordinator ensures the efficient operations of all bank locations within a given region. The Retail Banking Coordinator also performs the role of Bank Manager for the branch to which he/she is assigned. Responsible for regional and local results including sales, building and maintaining business and customer relationships, soliciting and developing new relationships, opening deposit accounts and making consumer loans as needed, promoting the bank’s public image in the community, and communication between all locations and bank leadership. Supervises all Bank Managers within given territory as well as all CSR’s, Teller Supervisors/Tellers at personal location and oversees the productivity, transactions, and profits of branch.


– Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field preferred, high school diploma required
– Skills necessary to work independently and in a team, be detail oriented and organized
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Previous team building and management skills a plus
– Moderate to advance computer program skills
– Ability to travel to banks in region as required.


– Supervise all retail activities of the banking region and endorses a positive, professional working environment for all customers and employees.
– Oversee the hiring and termination processes of staff personnel.
– Supports all local bank personnel and regional managers, including developing, implementing and meeting branch objectives, coaching as necessary, and engaging staff to take ownership of achieving goals/objectives.
– Provide reward and recognition as appropriate.
– Promotes bank Core Values throughout all bank locations.
– Educates team regularly on all current and new banking products and services offered by Landmark National Bank. Implement and Instruct as needed in 7 Step Conversation.
– Verify that internal audit controls and procedures are being followed. Implement and communicate new policies and procedures to staff timely.
– Administer monthly audits throughout region’s bank locations.
– Work with Bank Managers to ensure cash counts on teller drawers are completed quarterly.
– Perform surprise cash count audits on teller drawers and vault at all bank locations within retail region periodically.
– Create, review, and analyze management and sales information reports.
– Complete consumer loan requests and open new accounts.
– Handle and respond to customer complaints and concerns.
– Coordinate with various bank departments, other retail regions, and bank managers to provide superior customer service to current and potential customers.
– Represent the bank well in the community.
