Job Requirements

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical and electrical production equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, fork lift, hydraulic and pneumatic, and production machines/tooling; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Advanced computer usage with connecting and programming Dynalab Tester and Allen Bradley PLCs.

Understanding of Electrical theories in both AC and DC.

Knowledge of using a Multimeter and Soldering Iron.

Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using, and hand and power tools.

Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Works with Shop Supervisor to maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. Also to develop new test fixtures and or equipment required for production.

Personal Skills

Common Sense and Critical Thinking skills are required.

Ability to stand, kneel, sit and/or work on a ladder for extended periods of time. To lift 40 lbs. easily.

Valid Driver’s license. Able to drive a Forklift

Hours

40 hrs. with overtime as required. Normal hours Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with 30 min lunch. Some Saturdays required 7:00am to Noon.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
