Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., INC., a regional leader in the distribution sales of electrical materials, services, and supplies, seeks a highly motivated self-starter to serve as Information Software Business Development Specialist. The successful candidate will collaborate with the distributor sales personnel, other product specialist and all levels of customers (plant floor personnel to C-suite) to promote and sell Rockwell Automations Information Software and adjacent partners software offerings. Position is based in the territory with a typical work week, M-F, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Develops, promotes, and maintains software portfolio, vendor partnerships and delivery partners.
Develop and promotes competency plan for customers, other product specialists, and the sales team, to ensure awareness and appropriate knowledge of new and existing software offerings.
Develop, execute, and support a business and commercial plan for information software.
Identify target accounts, working in collaboration with the sales team to qualify and close software opportunities
Markets products via customer calls, educational presentations, open house events, trade shows, digital marketing, and advertising campaigns.
Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications
Strong Customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C.
Must be able to lift to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
