Business Office Manager (Part-Time)

The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about the Great Bend Community and wants to be part of its future success!  As the Business Office Manager, this individual is responsible for ensuring the success of the organization by creating a welcoming first impression and continued relationships with our diverse community when interacting with the Chamber. Working with business leaders, volunteers, and visitors, this experienced individual will exemplify organizational skills, attention to detail while managing multiple projects and tasks while providing exceptional customer service across all communication platforms; in-person, phone, and email.  Strong consideration given to bilingual candidates.

Successful candidates will show initiative, be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, meet deadlines efficiently, and be able to adapt with grace.  Also required is a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.  Responsibilities include recordkeeping, bookkeeping using QuickBooks software, customer service, facility management, and coordination of volunteers for Chamber programs.  This position requires the following skillsets:

·       Experience in recordkeeping, bookkeeping, and working knowledge of QuickBooks;

·       Experience providing exceptional customer service;

·       Excellent verbal and written communication;

·       Ability to interact with diverse populations;

·       Positive team player in the workplace and the community;

·       High proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;

·       Familiar with social media tools and database software.

This is a part-time position with working hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm. Some evening and weekend hours will be necessary from time to time.
