Farm Manager: Plant, grow, harvest, and sell organic vegetables, herbs and flowers using holistic management principles and sell at local farmers markets. Work with staff on project goals, programs, objectives, and strategies promoting Heartland Farm.  Attend meetings and contribute ideas, share in planning and update activities. Coordinate and supervise volunteers, interns, seasonal employees, and program participants.  Maintain financial, farm production and vehicle records.  Research best practices for animal breeds, chickens & alpacas.  Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, interns, apprentices, volunteers, visitors, and guests.  Maintain equipment and vehicles.  Must be self-starter and capable of managing multiple projects productively.   Must have valid driver’s license and pass background check.
