Will be responsible for various duties and tasks necessary for the operation and maintenance of streets, city utilities (water, electric, sewer), equipment, and facilities. Equipment operation experience is required, this employee will operate tractors, mowers, and other equipment.

Certification in Class 1 Water Supply System Operator and Class 1 Wastewater Treatment Facility System Operator or the ability to obtain certificates within twelve months of hire.    

The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication, organizational, and public relations skills.  Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED required.

Salary will be $18 – $24 per hour based on experience.  Benefits include vacation, sick leave, KPERS retirement, medical, vision, and dental.

Must pass a drug screen upon employment offer.
