Looking for outdoor summer work opportunities working Monday – Friday?  The Barton County Road and Bridge crew is looking for individuals to assist with summer projects that may include fixing roads, culverts, eliminating noxious weeds and upkeep for two county owned Memorial Parks.   Mechanical equipment experience is preferred to operate light trucks, small tractors, tractor-mower, forklift, sprayers and other mechanical equipment.  Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. is required.  Must be a high school graduate and pass a work fit test and drug screen.  Hours are 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Hourly rate is $12.00 / hr.  Apply on-line at bartoncounty.org, Employment Opportunities or pick up an application at the Barton County Courthouse, room 107.   Positions open until filled.
