Barton County is seeking applications for the position of Records Clerk at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office until filled.  The Records Clerk creates and updates files and various types of cards.   An accurate record of prisoners and the jail calendar must be maintained.  Additional duties include copying case and accident files and completing monthly billings for inmate housing and statistical reports.  Alternating day shift work, starting at 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. is required in this position.
