Barton Community College is seeking a replacement Assistant Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in all areas of human resource management. Expectations include: ensuring all Human Resource’s processes and procedures are in compliance with college policies and relevant regulations; management of employee training; and oversight of employee recruitment, performance appraisals, job descriptions and payroll. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or bachelor’s degree with accounting coursework along with six months to two years of similar or related experience, including knowledge of computerized payroll systems (including taxes with W-2s); along with proficiency in Office suite; professionalism; integrity; verbal and written communication, organizational, and research skills; detail and customer service oriented; ability to use independent judgment and analyze and solve problems through critical thinking.
