Barton Community College seeks applications for an Academic Coordinator for the Central Kansas Upward Bound (TRIO) Program.  This full-time replacement position is responsible to the Program Director to support participants in completing secondary and post-secondary education. Will participate in planning, development, implementation and delivery of curriculum of all new/revised program services as well as providing academic advisement and coordination of tutoring at target high schools.  Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license required; Master’s preferred in education, counseling or a related field with two to five years of similar or related experience.  Must possess knowledge of post-secondary educational processes, strong communication and teamwork skills. Evening/weekend hours and overnights are required.   No vacation time permitted during the 6-week summer residential program. Position is either completely or partially grant-funded.
